I am from the small town of Grimsby, Ontario. I've grown up in a small town my entire life, but I have always wanted to explore the world!

I recently graduated from Queen's University with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours. I majored in Geography and minored in English. I took Geography classes that involved topics like culture, space and place. My English courses involved learning the art of creative writing.

I am currently in the New Media post graduate program at Sheridan College. This is an eight month program that is teaching me the art of interactive journalism and all of the mediums that are included. I have acquired new technology, writing, editing and research skills.

My current role model in the journalism world is Anderson Cooper. I believe he has impeciable interviewing skills and brilliant reporting skills. I hope to acquire these skills in my journalism career.
